It Started with a Camera

Yes, an actual not-on-my-phone camera. I mean, that pocket peeper helped too, but it was my real camera that began my obsession with Living a Wanted Life.

You see, I am a photographer. I have always loved capturing the moments and know how valuable a photo can be.

As I worked with more and more families in my business, I started to realize how many people either reluctantly complied or flat-out refused to get their photos taken. The reasons varied, but ultimately it came down to one thing - they didn’t feel “fill in the blank” enough to be immortalized in a photo. Didn’t feel thin enough, or pretty enough, or happy enough, or loved enough, or important enough…..the list goes on.

So I thought it about it more and more over the years, paid attention more to the answers, and to the hidden messages. Again, it all seemed to boil down to one thing. They weren’t LIVING enough.

I will delve into all of this more as we go along, because it all drives so much under the surface of all the things we do, and don’t do in life.

Figuring out my own missing pieces of what I wasn’t feeling enough of, and then discovering what it was that I wanted more of, changed my life, and I will be vulnerable enough and crazy enough and probably even full-enough-of myself at times, but I’m here for it, if it can show even one person that they are MORE THAN enough. And they deserve to feel the way they want to feel and live the life they want to live.

It all starts here. Even though it really all started with a camera….

XO K~
